Good God... they're exactly the same. Kill me if Robin didn't think of Jewel while doing this portrait.
But for me she's too... cheerfull for Brekke. I only saw her in Firefly (and loved her), but for this role...
But the looks... God!

Well, I don't think she's too old. She coild pull off Brekke. I loved her in Firefly, and would like to see her somewhere else.
As for the alternatives... to tell you the truth I myself haven't been looking for likely actors, and noone pops to mind right now.

My brother has been trying to get me to see Atlantis for years now. Maybe now that I know she's in it I'll give it a go.
A doctor, you say? So, in Firefly she fall's in love with a doctor, and in Atlantis she's one herself. :) That must've been interesting.
