Daredevil/TMNT wp

The team up that should have happened already!  Seriously with all the crossovers and team ups that are going on these days it amazes me that this hasn't happened yet.  Especially since in this case the connection has already been made.  Way back in the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" #1 published in 1984, it was revealed that the same canister that mutated the Turtles is the one that hit Daredevil in the face!  That's right, Eastman and Laird were fans of the Marvel Daredevil comic and created the Turtles as a kind of satirical spinoff of it.  That's why the Turtles battle the Foot Clan (named after DD's Hand Clan), and why the Turtles mentor is called Splinter (after DD's mentor Stick).  So c'mon already Marvel!  Call up IDW and make this happen!

To create this wallpaper I brought together a shot of Charlie Cox as DD from the Netlfix series with a group shot of the Turtles from the Imagi movie TMNT.  I recolored both and took the eyes out of the Turtles to make them look more like their comic counterparts.  Then I placed them in front of a city background which I recolored.  I then added the logos of both.
